Some first ideas on the scout system, will add more later:

Scouting system:

> Scouting:
---> The village needs an outlooktower to recruit scouts
---> You need an outlooktower to see incomming and outgoing attacks
---> Each level of the outlooktower will allow faster production of scouts
---> Each level of the outlooktower will allow a larger range to spot camps on the map
------> 1 ring (3x3) around the area with the lookouttower per level, max level 10
---> camps in a forest can not be spotted, unless you send a scout into the forest
---> scouts defend an area against enemy scouts -> will fight if an enemy gets spotted
---> you can choose to scout for resources, building levels or military units

> 3 kind of scout reports:
---> scouted resources
---> scouted building levels
---> scouted military units

not sure if that is a good idea.You dont need that,every one can build a looktower(Towers) in the start,it will just make ppl to destroy them when they attack.And what do you do with outposts that dont have towers?

i think the first lvl 3x3 is to small maybe 5x5

can make the outlooktower available for all areas.

first ring could be 5x5, then 1 ring per level

I think you the outlooktower should have 3-4 times less range that it can see in the woods.

so forest which is close can be spotted and forest further away would be hard?

well forst close should'n be spotted either, because the forest will hide you, even if you go stand on a tower and look down, the leaves are in the way, maybe a technology for it?

yes technology would also be a good idea to add to the game. So people can research things and have a advantage over other people

Yes forest wicha are close can be spotted and forest futher away would be safe for camps.




Guys you have to know that this is a game,it should made to be as playable as it can be,not to be the most realistic online game.
