Any ideas how to do the takeover system? we could use different systems for taking over influence areas, outposts and village.

Some ideas:

>influence area takeover - stay on a tile for 2-3 days, with any army

>outpost takeover - need a general, control the outpost for 2-3 days

>village takeover - loyalty system with a general or other unit, attack until the loyalty is 0%

Outpost-i think it should be the same as vilage takeover loyalty system

I think outposts dont have loyalty so taking control of it or 2-3 days is better. Loyalty would also make it to easy for nearby village to send new troops. Loyalty for villages is good, then they have a chance to build new troops.

yea outpost only house soldiers, no villagers, so no loyalty, just brute force, i'm going for 2-3 days control.

The loyalty system for villages, how should you be able to increase your loyalty again?

over time, it increases automatically, so if you've lost 25% loyalty, you will recover to 100% again in a few days, mayve with a palace or something it goes faster?

Do you think this is a good idea? I don't know how everything works so this is just an idea.

Lets say someone is trying to take over a village and have it at 25% loyalty, then I try to take it over. Instead of me only having to take down 25% it should be at 100% for me since I didn't persuade the people the other person did. This would be more realistic because my person would have different ideals and the people wouldn't change so quickly.

I think it would be much more trouble to log the loyalty for each users, have to keep the system simple.

But you can also see the loyalty the other way around, its not gaining loyalty to the attacker but loosing loyalty to the current owner. at 0% the population has lost their loyalty, so when the attacker visits them they get a few % loyalty towards the attacker, he now has to control the town for a few days until the loyalty is back at 100% again.
