The descriptions of the weather system is given below. A screenshot of the different seasons in a village can be found here. Each area type has 4 different background, depending on the season. That makes a total of 24 different (area) backgrounds in the game.

Note: +% is bonus, -% is penalty

Every week a change in season:

>Seasons:
-> spring
-> summer
-> fall
-> winter

During a season the weather changes daily, depending on the chance each season. The weather types are:

>Weather types
->windy/cloudy/fog
---> +10% military recruitement times
---> -1 ring detection range lookouttower
->sunny
---> +5% resource production
---> +5% morale (military)
->rainy
---> -5% morale (military)
->snowy
---> -5% morale (military)
---> -5% traveling times

Each season has the following bonusses and penalties:

>spring
-> +10% resource production
-> +5% traveling times
->weather types
---> 30% windy/cloudy
---> 35% sunny
---> 30% rainy
---> 5% snowy

>summer
-> +5% resource production
-> +5% morale (military)
-> -10% military recruitement times
->weather types
---> 20% windy/cloudy
---> 60% sunny
---> 20% rainy
---> 0% snowy

>fall
-> -5% resource production
-> -5% traveling times
->weather types
---> 40% windy/cloudy
---> 10% sunny
---> 40% rainy
---> 10% snowy

>winter
-> -10% resource production
-> -10% traveling times
-> -5% morale (military)
->weather types
---> 20% windy/cloudy
---> 5% sunny
---> 20% rainy
---> 45% snowy

The weather will be shown in the interface, top left corner. To predict the weather, the technology forecast has to be researched. You need a lookout tower lvl5 for 1 day prediction, and lvl10 for 2 days.

The game looks great, graphics-wise.
Judging from that I take it the LOD team has some good graphical artists.

So, why not let them put a little more effort in showing the difference between fall, spring and summer?

and there kinda busy with the game mechanics, so the graphics aren't a high priority,

I don't know
I prefer the 10% resource-bonus in Spring.

Winter has "-> -10% traveling times"? You must have meant +10% time (with snow & such). Thus, the + and - can be reversed.

Suggestion: Perhaps raise the mountains' snow-lines during summer and/or autumn?

I would also like to see the graphics for different areas. Outposts - here I come!

yea changing of the seasons and weather is finished, but not the bonus/penalty part

The Weather and Season display is fully operational.
I assume that the effects due to bonuses/penalties are also working?

Yea fully functional, bonus/penalties might need some tuning. All information is at the "information" tab if you click on the weather indicator.
